TMG Automotive e Universidade Coimbra assinam Acordo de Partilha de Resultados
A TMG Automotive e a Universidade de Coimbra assinaram, no passado dia 5 de janeiro, na Reitoria da Universidade Coimbra, um Acordo de Partilha de Resultados, relativo ao projeto de investigação “DeVOC”, financiado pelo Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional (no âmbito do programa COMPETE 2020 do Portugal 2020). Este projeto foi liderado pela TMG Automotive e realizado em colaboração com o Departamento de Engenharia Química da Faculdade de Ciência e Tecnologia da UC (DEQ-FCTUC).
O projeto “DeVOC – Novos produtos plastificados funcionais, mais verdes e sustentáveis, à base de PVC, e com baixas emissões de compostos orgânicos voláteis (VOCs)” tem como objetivo global reduzir as emissões totais de VOCs, sem deteriorar todas as outras propriedades funcionais, essenciais para as aplicações específicas destes produtos no setor automóvel.
A cerimónia de assinatura, que vem fortalecer a parceria estratégica entre a TMG Automotive e a Universidade de Coimbra, contou com as intervenções da Administradora da TMG Automotive, Isabel Furtado, do Reitor da UC, Amílcar Falcão, do Professor e Investigador do DEQ-FCTUC, Hermínio Sousa, e do Coordenador da UC Business, Luís Saraiva Silva.
TMG Automotive and University of Coimbra have signed an Agreement to share the results of a research project
On January 5th TMG Automotive and University of Coimbra signed an Agreement to share the results of a research project at the Rectory of the University of Coimbra. This agreement is related to the research project "DeVOC," funded by the European Regional Development Fund (within the framework of the COMPETE 2020 program of Portugal 2020). The project, led by TMG Automotive, was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra (DEQ-FCTUC).
The "DeVOC" project aimed to develop new functional plasticized products, more environmentally friendly and sustainable, based on PVC, with low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The main goal was to reduce the total emissions of VOCs without compromising other functional properties essential for specific applications in the automotive sector.
With the presence of Isabel Furtado, CEO of TMG Automotive, Amílcar Falcão, Dean of University of Coimbra, Hermínio Sousa, Researcher and Professor at DEQ-FCTUC, and Luís Saraiva Silva, Coordinator of UC Business, this ceremony strengthens the strategic partnership between TMG Automotive and the University of Coimbra.
